Boxing : Primal and Instinctive
CMD is the platform where the program teaches you to learn a solid foundation of defense first and offense next. When you have a great defensive foundation, you have more time to do other things. This is the beauty of CMD. Simple, effective and with a universal application.
We provide training with the aim to improve all our clients’ skills and abilities in a non-judgmental, safe and supportive training environment. Our classes are conducted in the evenings with a family-atmosphere and at a pace that you are comfortable with.
How to get started:
1. Register online (see the link at the end of this page)
2. Attend the free Intro Class (details in the registration page)
3. Sign up for CM Core (Boxing), Monkey Jits, or do a combination of both. It’s 100% up to you how many classes you want to take.
We suggest a minimum of 2 classes, any less you won’t see any results.
4. You can also choose to do only CM Core: It’s more a workout based on boxing and kick boxing but it will also teach you
the necessary skills to start defending against punches.
5. Conditional (Tennis Match) sparring is introduced at E-Core.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu | Monkey Jits: The focus is on Personal Safety first
Monkey Jits and CMD Program Creative Director, Rodney King is a 2nd degree Black Belt under Rigan Machado, 8th Degree Black Belt Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
The Monkey Jits approach to learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is different from most BJJ schools in that we do not exclusively train for martial arts competitions. We use BJJ to develop movement skills for health, fitness and fun. The underlying philosophy of Monkey Jits and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu was developed as a need for personal safety and self preservation. It was never developed for competition even though many use BJJ as a competitive sport, it is not our focus of training.

Part of the personal safety arsenal has to include the understanding of the physical and physiological aspects of being physically threatened. The program is designed to enable a tested set of principles that is applied when you are under the threat of violence as well as tactical solutions to address random acts of violence without turning you into a “tough guy” or “paranoid-meathead”.

Conditions:
- A Personal Training service agreement and client’s health declaration is required.
- For clients with health and medical conditions, an additional doctor’s signed letter of permissible physical activity is required.
- Personal training option is available from 9am – 5pm.
- Personal training sessions are 55 minutes long and clients with similar training goals may be combined in a semi-personal class.
- Each 10 session package purchased is valid for 3 months and is payable in advance.
- If a client is late or does not show up for the pre-booked session, it will be forfeit.
- All personal training sessions must be reserved ahead of time on a first-come, first-served basis.
- All personal training sessions must be pre-paid in advance.
- If the client is away but wishes to keep their regular day and time slot, the session must be paid for otherwise that day/time slot will be made available to other clients who requests for it.
