▶ Do you offer FizFit Certification for Trainers?
Yes, please send us an email expressing your interest
▶ Can I just train Kettlebells?
Yes, you can pay by the class as you attend.
I am currently conducting the Kettlebell classes using 2 formats:
1. Kettlebell Progressions
This is aimed to teach my clients all the same material and mindset that is required for a Kettlebell Teacher's Certification WITHOUT the certification.
They will learn all the steps of how to handle and train with the kettlebell using the Kettlebell Sport model (strength & endurance) using Competition Kettlebells only.
In addition, they will learn all the supplementary drills required to support their main lifts.
Clients need to do 2 things: 1. Keep their spot on the Progression Team by meeting the minimum training quota every month (8 classes) and 2. Attempt the year-end Kettlebell Test to qualify and be recognized for their achievement.
If clients do not meet the quota they will be dropped from the team. I am looking to teach people who take their training a little more seriously than just a casual observer. Once you are on the team, I will give you my 100% and teach you all you need to know *and more* to pass the year-end test.
2. Drop-in Kettlebell Workout
Anyone can drop by for the Kettlebell class and join in. They can learn how the Progression Team above trains and train alongside. The only differences are that the monthly training quota and year end test does not apply to them. Consequently I do not monitor the progress and to address any questions, the Progression Team takes priority.
▶ I have an injury, can I still train?
Generally it is a BAD idea to train while injured. Be sure to inform the trainer ahead of time about your injuries and rest!
▶ Do you sell kettlebells?
Yes, we have most weights in stock. Please check with the front desk.
8kg, 12kg, 16kg, 20kg are usually in stock.
▶ I haven’t done kettlebells before. Which level should I start with?
Level 1. This is a technique focused class.
▶ What is the difference between Kettlebell Classes level 1 and 2?
Level 1. This is a technique focused class.
Level 2. This is a workout focused class based on the skills learned in Level 1
▶ How do I register for a free Intro/ FKb trial class?
Please complete this online CMD REGISTRATION or free FKb trial class
▶ What should I wear for the classes?
Workout shirt and shorts. Shoes are not required as we train on fuly matted floors.
